The newest instruments from the master workshop Vorreiter are the experimental guitars. They are based on the findings of the Thesis (download at the bottom of the page) of Florian Vorreiter and are characterized by the following features:
- Veneered sides with a core made of Balsa wood
- Double soundhole with extended fingerboard
- Sideport with slide door
- Strings go through the top for a lightweight bridge and maximum torque
- V-Joint
- Handmade purflings
- Elaborate measuring for analysis of the material and sound properties
- Extensive voicing of the instrument during construction and on the finished instrument
All inlays and purflings are handmade and designed for each instrument individually.
